boo I did read your thread about home working, if i was at home i would be offering my services as a researcher, you know, using your computer for either family or social research, for post-grads or research students who have a bursary or even for private clients for family history

My hubbys gotta work saturday and sunday,he's got friday off as they class that as a bank holiday but sunday they don't so he's gotta work!!

I have to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday AND Monday - but I get all next week off, so I can go out when the roads are quieter and the pubs are emptier, so it's not as bad as it sounds!

I tell you what Dot., I was in Tesco's the other day and couldn't believe what I saw... Easter Crackers!!! What on earth is the world coming to? Easter crackers! I ask you! They also had a whole section of other bits and pieces you always associate with Christmas but with "easter" colours on, things like streamers and poppers etc. Rant over!

I'm not working over easter (normally would be) coz I'm on long term sick at the mo but will have a drink on Friday and Sunday nights. (Also had a few last night to celebrate after the match!)

It may be a holiday for the 9-5 office worker types but the country still needs lots of workers to do the holidays. Not only the retail industry but the utility services and other service industries.
