Try the following by sending an e/mail to yourself.
Start New Mail addressed to yourself. Click Insert > Pictures In Line..... Locate a picture from a file and when you open it the picture will appear in the body of your E/mail at a point where you have placed a cursor. A right mouse click on the picture will enable you to re-size it.
Hans.

I can attach files etc...it is just the C&P..have tried sending an email to myself but still to no avail...what a pain...I love to add little pics to make a chatty email more interesting.
Tried sending one to myself doing what you suggest...again...nothing!!!
Do you think it is to do with settings????

I am a bit lost as regards what next to suggest. It is the case that I am unable to C&P photographs into Outlook but, as above ^^^, 'Pictures in Line' does work for me.
