7 Days To Go For Tower Poppies

We went to see the poppies at the Tower of London today; it was most beautiful.

Do go if you can, there's just 7 days to go and you won't regret it.

I went there today as well. Been waiting for a sunny day for some pictures.

I had to book a day off work to go, so was deighted when it turned out so sunny today. It was a two hour train journey there and two hours back and worth every minute. How lucky i am to have seen them and to have bought one when I did back in the summer.

I have. It was quite a few weeks ago and it was wonderful. Very moving and humbling. A beautiful sight. I've bought two of them and look forward to receiving them, probably in the New Year.

Wonderful day, except OH who said half way down the A14, did I put my coat in? Course he hadn't so he moaned a lot about being cold. However it is an amazing sight, the crowds were enormous, I expected midweek to be quite quiet but we queued from the moment we stood up on the Tube but everyone was very good natured We'd joined the Tower etc , a good deal for a year, and went into the Tower so we got some lovely views from higher up. The railings round the Tower on Tower Hill were boarded so it was hard to get to seen the cascading window other that from one side.

To anyone going today, keep warm and be ready to brolly dodge. Its still worth it! Avoid the tube if you can - we hoped on a bus and jumped off at Tower zgateway.
