Rant - Verified By Visa
6 Answers
every time I use my credit card online, it appears that it has to be security verified by visa. up pops this box into which I have to put my user name and password. every time I do this, the system tells me my password is invalid. I have now had 8 password re-sets since the 12th of October.
Who on earth runs this poxy system that I might complain to? I'm getting pretty fed up with it......
rant over.

Hi Mushroom,
When I get directed to that site it normally only asks for 3 random digits from my password. I have had to reset my password a couple of times because Visa wouldn't recognise it. I sort of found out by accident that sites I visit quite regularly that use this system would not accept the new reset password and I have used the old one no problem.
It seems to be whenever you use a site for the first time that they would ask for a new password. If you have used a site previously with no problem try putting in an older password and see what happens. Otherwise I suppose your bank may be able to point you in the right direction.
