i care not to watch that perennially overrated show called the aprenttice..Alan sugar makes a lot of noises demands-this that and the other ,no nonsense no comprimise, self belief , committment (the usual management guff)- if he has such exacting standards how come amstrad have such a poor reputation for cheapskate goods(proving you can make loads of dosh selling pap?)

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.i too think he is doing the old cowell trick - but the difference is that even if you disliked cowell you had to admit he was generally right and when he wasn't he admitted it (yes i watch too much crappy vote based tv).. where as Alan Sugar just comes across as a rude idiot with very poor personal skills and shakey at best recruitment skills... sad really, i wonder when being rude became a trait that people embraced, you hear people all the time declaring "i say what i think thats just me" like its a strength, when actually its just rude and obnoxious and your mother should have taught you better manners - you don't been to be rude to get ahead in life.
I had the misfortune of seeing this cack for the first (and last) time last week - utter drivel. I absolutely agree with undercovers, and have said myself on many occasions, that people who pride themselves on "straight talking" are usually nothing but rude, arrogant bullies.
As for Alan Sugar, a face waiting for a slap to arrive if ever there was one, I had enough of him in those premium bonds ads. "...and that's why my fee for this ad is going to Great Ormond Street". Oh get over yourself man, you can afford it.
