A joint group was therefore formed and representations were made in order to secure the right to lay a wreath. On behalf of the joint group, the SNP and Plaid Westminster leaders now do so on alternate years. SNP Westminster Leader Angus Robertson MP will be in his Moray constituency on Sundayand will attend the Commemoration Service in Elgin. First Minister Alex Salmond will attend a service at Edinburgh's St Giles Cathedral. Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon will attend a remembrance service at Glasgow City Chambers on Sunday.

London isn't the centre of the Universe. I listened to Jeremy Vine yesterday and a 'Home Counties' lady berated people for basically not getting off their bums to travel to London to acknowledge the fantastic and utterly moving display at the Tower of London.
If only it were that simple...
I'm sure the Irish, Welsh, Scots and the rest of the Commonwealth who lost loved ones would have appreciated visiting the memorial to pay their respects.
So, on that note we *all pay pay our respects in our own countries...
