Readers may remember my comments regarding the type of bath aid that is a band on a roller?

It was featured on "Don't get Done, get Dom." this morning. The lady who bought one encountered exactly the problems that I had mentioned and Dom pointed out, also as I said, that salesmen need not have training in assessing a person's needs or the appropriateness of the aid for their home circumstances. ALSO THAT THEY ARE IN NO WAY RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT THE CUSTOMER BUYS WHAT THEY NEED OR WHAT WILL BE SAFE FOR THEM any more than a car salesman needs to assess someone's driving slikks before flogging them a sportscar. This applies to all aids, not just bath aids.
BE WARNED!
