What I mean by that, do you answer a Question with yes when you should have said no? have you been asked to go out, you have said yes just to please the other person? Have you stood in a queue & someone pushes in and you have said "Oh that's alright" when you should have said, there is a queue here?

When it comes to answering Questions on here, I think as I type, which has sometimes got me into bother, but that is the way I work, so I don;t think I'll be changing it now.
That said, I rarely say things I don;t mean, although I can have my argument dismantled by other posts, and I am always willing to concede if I have changed my view.

When I was younger, I was quieter and less confident but I feel that as I've got older I am saying things to people I wouldn't have said before. If someone pushed in front of me in a queue I would point it out but in a nice a way as possible and if they still didn't move, I'd lamp them one :-) If I really really don't want to go somewhere I would explain why I didn't want to go but quite often I will be talked into it.
Yes, on many occasions I have said I would go out to please someone else. Usually for Birthday drinks, but no-one ever suggested going out for mine though...
Yes, I have pointed out that "There is a queue, you know." However, as a 6' 3" 18-stone, knuckle-dragging neanderthal, I feel quite comfortable in doing so. Shop windows are just perfect for putting queue-jumpers through! That's the Playschool Principle!!!

When I was in my twenties I was popular... great listener..always there for me ...invite lonely people onto own privates friendship groups.. pay for night out for someone cos they were broke... babysat cos they couldn't afford to pay for one... pick up tab at restaurant .....
Then one day i reassessed my friends. And started to say no to those I thought were hangers on... took about a year ...wonderful and liberating...all new friends are treated with 'suspicion' until they prove themselves ..... the erstwhile considered acquaintances or colleagues
