I am frequently asked to dis-able add-ons in order to speed up browsing----what would I not be able to perform if I did??

I think it is a difficult area and always ignore the warnings.

Different add-ins do different things. If the tech can't advise me on which I may be able to do without to free up resources and speed things up, I don't see why it 'thinks' I would know.

I think it is impossible to answer your question without having a list of your Add-ons.

As Ratter says.." depends what add-ons you are referring to." Also O_G makes a point that.."Different add-ons do different things."
