This is a laugh coming from Barnsley Council, even some of their police have been known to go around with their faces covered, so successful in fact that it was copied later by Sheffield police.

/// The clothes-swapping day took place earlier this year in Sheffield town centre and followed a similar event in Barnsley. ///

Very insightful AOG.

Brilliant, that just about says it all.
the suggestion that santa might do something illegal is grossly insulting
AOG as others have pointed out the 2 stories are in no way related.
The 'Santa' one is plain daft as he would be more easily recognised in costume , while the 'police dressing up' one is a good idea. I am sure the police officers now have a better understanding of the reality of wearing a Burka , and members of the Muslim community have a better understanding of police procedures.

You are having a larf, surely?
I don't think he is. Why don't you just state what your feelings are, exactly, rather than hint at it? Or at least justify your Santa / Muslim link.
I'm not having a laugh at all, my comments are serious.
