Cleaning Washing Machine Seal

Due to a user's error we have quite a bit if mould on our washing machine door rubber seal. What could be safely used to clean the seal without damage.

if its black stains you'll not get that off

Ignore the black staining - just get a cloth and wipe the sludgy crud off it.

Try running your machine on a very hot programme with a small cup full of bleach in the drum

I'd give it a good rub with lemon juice then run the machine on its longest hottest wash with a tablespoon or so of washing soda in.
It won't do any harm and might shift the mould.
