I popped into Iceland yesterday for some chips and came out with their Exotic Meat Feast. It comes boxed with kangaroo, crocodile and ostrich burgers as well as ostrich steaks - for £10. Bargain! I was a little dubious about the quality, but I needn't have worried - have just thoroughly enjoyed kangaroo burger and crocodile burgers to the quality of what I would usually order from a specialist online- at a fraction of the price! I am surprised how readily available these meats have become. I'm not ordinarily an Iceland shopper, but I think I'll pop my head into there more often. What bargains have you found this week?

Not sure if it qualifies as a bargain, but I went to PC world to buy a radio. Ended up buying a sofa bed from Bensons for Beds which was next door to it.

Sounds like the reverse, Boo. I'm sure a sofa bed must be a lot pricier that a radio! Hope you haggled them on the price :)

Bought a lovely very old leather satchel ( about 1920/30) for £40 in really really good nick. Well chuffed.

A young friend of mine bought a lovely pair of trousers in a sale and then spent £30 on a top that looked like two dishcloths sewn together because she had nothing to wear with them. What a bargain!
