Crosswords Work It Out Or Cheat
11 Answers
Isn't asking questions regarding the answers to crossword puzzles ,cheating.
Surely the idea is to rack your brain ,keep thinking about it ,give yourself a day or so until the answers are printed in the next day/weeks publication or ask someone else ! are you really trying ? .Do you resist the temptation not to ASK ? I must admit I have no interest in Crosswords or Puzzles of any description.

I scour this site to find my missing answers, but I've never asked for a clue - that's what the Search Box is for.

I view asking questions 'within a very short time' of publication as *cheating oneself*. Most of the satisfaction of completing a crossword comes from the end-of-pencil-chewing, brain-racking time spent on searching for a solution.
Naturally, if I have expended an inordinate amount of time, I'll search for help in solving whatever conundrum with which I am presently wrestling.....but I'd usually wait at least 24 hours, or so.
