How do households appliances know it is the most inconvenient time to keel over?

Everytime Mr Cake goes away an appliance gives up the ghost, today it is the TV, which is even more of an issue because I have no clue how to switch on the other TV :-(

I might go with the kidnapping a child route........

I do wonder if the electrical appliances have a pow wow in the middle of the night to decide whose turn it is to be mardy :-(

Hans.
what brand is it, Eccles? Someone may be able to help you if they have your model.....
Ring Mr. Cake.
I've noticed they always seem to break down a week after the warranties
have run out.

If only ringing Mr Cake was that easy.....

The good news is that the TV came out of sulk mode about 20mins ago :-)
Any time your TV goes on the blink - turn it off at the wall - in fact take plug out and leave for 15-30 mins. Do this even if you lose SKY - it will come back.
Most things in the world today can be sorted by switching off and on again
I'd think "**** it" and go to the pub. THey have telly there. And someone cooks for me.
