make eye brows grow back??!!

I've just had my eyebrows professionally shaped as i usually do them myself ... and to my horror when she handed me the mirror i found she had left me with hardly any eyebrows at all! I know look like i am constantly shocked! I usually go for the natural look but now i look like some manaquin! Help!

oh my god! i've just been told it takes up to two months for them to grow back! not in time for christmas :(

they will grow back - honestly! I have mine waxed relatively regularly and one week they stay ok, then about a week later you see the hair reappearing and about 2 weeks after that its growing back with a vengeance. They should be well on their way by Christmas!

If your that worried you have to get handy with an eyebrow pencil in the meantime....both figures quoted are realistic it just depends on your own hair/skin type and your own metabolism....other than that if you wear darker eye shadow you'll find that this draws attention away from the 'brows themselves....hope you feel better and remember most people won't be noticing it at all...it's only cause you got a shock when it happened that you are finding it so noticeable.......I bet you look great!

Thanks for the encouraging words you guys! I really really really hope they grow back soon! My mum totally freaked at me when she saw them and now isnt speaking to me because she is so angry :( i tried to explain that it wasnt what i was trying to achieve! Friends have noticed but they have tried to make me feel better by saying similar things have happened to them ... one friend also suggested using a keratin supplement and royal jelly or something as it encourages new hair growth? have you heard of this before?

oh how i hope they grow back very soon! want to cry everytime i look in the mirror ... sounds sad i know ... never thought i was obsessed with my looks but now this has proved a real wake up call...

Apparently one way of stimulating hair growth is lots of sex! This increases blood flow and hormone levels and increases metaolism rates...might be worth a try and you have a good excuse :>) failing that try some exercise.

lol @ sft .... well i go to the gym everyday so i hope it benefits my eyebrows as well as my fitness!!!
