//The teenagers died when their Toyota Corolla collided with a Seat vehicle in foggy conditions on the A630 just outside Conisbrough at about 9.40pm on Saturday.
A 21-year-old man believed to have been driving a third vehicle has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.//
Thanks Baldric, I know the Road well as I've travelled it, it states FOG, another though has entered my mind, but I will not say what I think at this time.
Well if they were pootling along at thirty, or even forty, this is most unlikely to be an outcome. But we'll just have to await the crash investigators` view.
The weather may well have played a part (insomuch as the drivers were probably travelling too fast for the prevailing conditions). The description of the incident gives a clue to what happened. Apparently the Toyota containing the five teenagers was following a Corsa (driven by the person who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving). The five teenagers and the Corsa driver met up in Doncaster and were travelling away from the town following a visit to McDonalds. The Toyota driver lost control and collided with an oncoming Seat driven by a 45 year old man on his way to work. He sustained a broken leg.
I'm not a gambling man and speculation will not help anybody but I have a very good idea of the root cause of this tragic incident.
