skin protection

I suffer from vitiligo and have been trying to purchase a good quality sun protection cream - 40/50 factor that will not leave my skin white. Can anyone give me some suggestions.

u need sunblock, you can get it on prescription from your GP via your local pharmacy

thanks - I have done this but the cream leaves my skin very white - makes me look ill - I would like to find something that is either invisible or with a slight colour

Nivea do an SPF 50 sun cream in a tube.I use it in the summer and sometimes in the winter because I have an allergy to the sun where I come out in a blisters and itchy lumps on my face and any other uncovered bits!.Something with a fancy name to do with the lymph glands. It's the best one I have ever used and it sinks in and doesn't leave that white film....I know what you mean !
I've had prescription stuff and it just sits on your skin like a mask.

the lymph glands thing that is related to the sunc\ream is the breat cancer issue that is a side effect

I didnt know anything about that Dot ..are these sun creams linked to breast cancer ?
I have something which is to do with the lymph glands in the face not draining properly I can't think what they called it now at the hospital....If I sit in the sun too long without suncream I end up looking as if I have the measles !
My skin gets inflamed and itchy..mind you I have had this for years so am not too worried.
