hi, my mother in law gets PC guarantee credit and i recently applied for attendance allowance for her too. She rang me today to tell me she's been awarded the standard rate of AA (approximately 2 weeks after we sent the forms off!). I understand this wont affec her entitlement to PCGC, but remember reading somewhere you might get a bit extra - can anyone confirm and if so, do you have to apply or is it automatic?

oops - skipped windows!
It may be possible for your MIL to get ' severe disability allowance' if she is very poorly. That gives extra attendance allowance as well.
