Delia`s Mango Chutney

Has anyone ever made this? There are lots of recipes on the internet but I want one that is just mango - not mango and apple so I thought I`d go with Delia.

I've never made it but I do love mango chutney, and am a great advocate of delias recipes so if i was you I'd just make it. I looked the recipe up and it does sound really nice :)

I have made mango chutney using a recipe for green tomato chutney - just substituted the same weight of fruit. It came out very well indeed, and got better still as time went by.

Yes, I know it's not homemade....but Aldi's mango chutney is delicious and cheap (79 or 89 pence) and has 42% mango content....

Update - it`s got a bit longer to go but it tastes pretty fantastic. I did half measures but didn`t look at my own notes and put in the full amount of cayenne pepper. I tried to scoop some of it out but didn`t get all of it so the chutney is quite spicy. I`m happy with that but I wanted to give a jar to my Mum and she won`t like it (she likes Sharwoods). In fact, I would probably reduce the cayenne anyway. It`s lovely though.
