Since my retirement I don't notice days of the week much...it was 2pm today before I realised it was Sunday and not Monday....but a friend has topped this....
We've just had a chat on the phone.....on Friday morning she decided to go shopping... the long shopping when you just mooch around...have coffee..etc.
Returning home at 5.45 she spotted her frozen and hungry husband coming out of the garden shed....
He'd gone out to do some gardening.....she'd locked the house up forgetting he was no longer working ...and there is no exit from their back garden......☺
