norton firewall/images

on some sites the pictures won't download, yet if I disable the firewall they magically appear how can i set the firewall to allow the whole web-page to appear. (i'm running XP)

first of all I am no techie but on my XP if there are some piccies missing I usually have another info bar popping up under the web address bar and if I want the missing piccies I just have to click that and hey presto!
