I live in a country that routinely bans websites (eg You Tube) for minor issues. Is there a way to get beyond the Government control and access such sites? The local media suggests it can be done, but doesn't seem to dare to say how!

Thanks - tried that and the Tor website has also been blocked!
Well that's what you need. Otherwise, just google 'anonymous proxy'. But Tor is what you need. Get a friend from another country to put it on a CD and post it to you... or email it you?

Coincidentally, which country is it?
