Wednesday. A light frost this morning. All the stars are out to play. No breeze.

Tiggy still active, but if we have much more frost it will be time for him to get his head down.

Not much to do today, some shoplifting to get bits and pieces for the guests coming to dinner Saturday. I'm looking forward to that.

Yes I guess it was a good call to bring that out now rather than later. But I don't really believe that there's someone out there for me anymore. I didn't before really. And then we met and without meaning to we ended up close and it was happening when I least expected it...

I don't get why every girl I've met seems to agree both that there is someone out there for me, and that it is not them. I've only been hit on once and it's now clear that this was because I was there and she was lonely and needed her confidence back.

No, I find it harder than ever to believe that there is someone out there. This was as close as I thought I'd ever been and it was still nowhere near.

Jim, in my book everything happens for a reason, I know it won't help at the moment but years back I went out for a drink with a mate, got home with a strangers 'phone number in my pocket, that's the stranger I've just seen off to work 30 years later.

Jim that is the way of it mate. I can't count how many girls I was interested in, but it wasn't reciprocated. We usually remained friends, but that was it. As I said. you will be doing something one day, or nothing at all. You will see a girl, or she will see you, you will chat for a while and then go your separate ways, but you will meet again and chat for longer this time. Face to face, not by text.
That may happen many times mate, but each time you learn a little bit more and you will get over it. But one day it will be the real thing. Either you will know within a couple of hours, or it may grow slowly. But she is out there mate. You just haven't met her yet. But you will!
