sounds like you married the wrong man, especially if you cant trust him. maybe you could consider getting help for you both.
dont use credit cards and keep your cash in an account he cant touch. if you declare fraud it will come out that it was your husband and that is a serious matter as erimus1 has said
If your husband has used your credit card details and lied about it you obviously have some serious issues to deal with in terms of your marriage. Do you think he may have run up other debts without your knowledge? It's good your card has been cancelled, but is it likely to happen again with the replacement card?
Until you can establish without doubt that he is financially reliable, if you are working I would open a separate bank account in your name only and have your salary paid into it and try and manage without a credit or debit card. I know this might be inconvenient but if it happens again, you will be responsible for any debts incurred on it by him unless you are prepared to shop him for fraud which will obviously have a serious and possibly fatal effect on your marriage.
if you card says 'payment to t-mobile' or something and your isn't that, and if you check with the phone company whose account it was paid from, then he can't really deny it.
if he does, its irrelevant as "someone" has paid his bill with your card and either way he owes you money.
tell him that if he is innocent he won't mind giving you the money he had intended to pay his phone bill with.
if he refuses get the CAB to write some kind of formal letter about fraud, court cases etc etc to frighten him a bit, so that he repays and doesn't do it again.
Catch 22 situation there, if you don't want to press charges against your partner the your bank will most likely hold you liable. On the other hand if you do press charges then you could be liable for only a nominal figure, usually 50. Get a copy of your credit card terms and conditions and look under fraudulent spending, that should tell you what u are laible for. Usually you are only liable if u disclose your pin or willingly hand the card over or refuse to press charges.
