Just received email
"Dear Tesco customer

You have received this message because of the recent shopping you did at Tesco stores . It's time to reward you .

We have prepared a reward for you in exchange for your honest opinion of our service. Please download the attachement and follow the instructions."

Well, with the punctuation, the spelling of attachment and the fact is from a gmail account very unimpressive. Screams scam. Dont open it folks.

No Tesco? Lucky you. We have 4 of them locally - 2 superstores and 2 express stores. I did complete a mini survey for them recently so I was initially thinking this is genuine. 10 seconds later I saw it wasnt.

Thanks for the warning grasscarp. I do my main shopping at Tesco at least once a week so by rights I should get one of these if it's genuine.

Ozzy, you are so lucky not to have been tarnished with the Tesco brush. We are inundated here and for many people in many areas, they have NO choice. They live in Tescoland, like it or lump it. I hate Tesco. Fortunately, I have quite a choice locally and with lots of small independent shops.

Good way to judge, if it is addressed 'Dear Customer' it will almost always be a scam. Genuine Companies have your name and will address Emails accordingly
