I see. So people shouldn't drink at all. Funnily enough I agree with you, but then I did a great deal of drinking when I was younger so I've had my share. Won't go down well with a lot of ABers who, it appears to me, drink in their houses every night. Still, being a puritan never made one popular.

Ah, but it's the limit that's under discussion. Most people praising the Scottish 1 pint limit and others calling for Zero to be the limit. Hence my pointing out that they would be in trouble if stopped the next morning. I don't think some of them realise.
Also, you suggested people were indecent if over any limit but because I 'picked you up on it', you've altered that to socially irrepsonsible. If you'd used the term irrepsonsible in the first place, I doubt I'd have said anything.
