I'm off down the borders to drop of an Avon parcel and some Christmas presents then heading off to Berwick for the Football with my OH and that's about my day so far :) so no not really and anybody who does push,kick etc me does it at their peril ;)

What's your weather Queen? Very frosty here with a large cover of some white stuff, I think its called Ice, have a safe one.

I'm just back from the vets. That was my plan for the day :-)

Do they have a large shopping Mal there now Ummmm?, the place as I remember, was the Market Place, & the street near the Town Hall, what else has changed regards the Centre?

Here it's a bit dull and grey and looks wet underfoot but maybe a chance of ice. I will be careful :)

Market is still going strong. Giles Street, by the town hall, is really nice, lots of small independent shops. Not much else has changed really.

We have a new'ish Marina in Becketts Park which is nice. The bus station, voted one of the ugliest buildings in the UK, is being knocked down. The Chron and Echo (by the police station) has also gone, most of the shoe factories are now flats.

Giggling sausage is still there :-)

ahh the giggling sausage - altho' last time I was in Northampton there were two, one on London Road, and one at the end of st leonard's road.

the london road branch was nearest to our depot on ransome road (behind bridge street crossing signalbox) - the depot supervisor used to invite me to lunch but he invariably had empty pockets when we got there.

Food shop just after 7 today...no crowds or queues. Seeing local footie team later. Evening madras curry to warm me up!

I never shop on a Saturday . I leave that free for the workers .

Just walked down to the local post office to collect a couple of parcels. Stood behind an old couple who seemed very excited to hear the last day for posting to Canada for Christmas was the 9th. He then proceeded to tell the lady behind the counter who it was he was posting stuff to, how long they'd been out there etc, while his other half went off to get a paper. The lady behind the counter listened intently, while I ungraciously yawned. Shocking I know.

Beautiful day in the far west of Cornwall. Quite sunny and no wind. Amazing sunrise this morning !

I am in for a day with the crosswords. I put a large pot of coffee on about an hours ago, and then this afternoon I shall probably have a nice snooze ! Sounds like bliss to me.

Off to a Chinese restaurant tonight, so I shall pig out of Crispy Duck !

I've been for a 3 mile walk, then circuit training, then a 5k Parkrun. Home now to do some boring old housework, cleaning, vacuuming, washing. blah blah blah . VERY boring!
