While I'm here (before I finish my baking)..
I've got a pain that is running down my left arm from the inside of my elbow (not the bone but feels like it's from a vein or artery running parallel to my palm). The pain is shooting and runs down to my wrist but no further. I've had this for a few days now and it has been keeping me awake at night. I also have lower back pain which I've been told could be related to this.
Any ideas?

A common cause is carpal tunnel syndrome, where a major nerve, the ulnar nerve is trapped at the wrist.

Sqad: easier said that done. I could probably get an appointment with the queen before getting one with my GP. I'll bring it up next time I'm hospitalised - unless it kills me! My blood pressure sits at 140+/130 and my resting BPM is about 96/102. Neither the hospital or doctors care so... I'll bring it up next time I can see someone.. Cheers.
Am I unique in getting pains which I just as just well getting a pain?
My Husband walks for, at the very least 12 miles a day, over terrain which is very hilly and very daunting.....in all weathers. He has ailments all the time, he just cracks on with it.
Do some people have too much time on their hands? Seriously I have the utmost admiration for anyone working outside in this weather, it'll get worse then I read about minor details, albeit major to them. About time they had a reality check. You have too much time on your hands !! You'll know if it's serious, your body will tell you and you wont post on AB ;)
I get that some people have serious issues and need coaxed but some are just nonsence...like my bleeding from my ear a week or so back ;)
