A search on Amazon for Myers Briggs and career change brings up a number of books that sound good. 'Do what you are' was once recommended to me, although I confess I haven't quite got round to reading it (see www.personalitytype.com)! I know this isn't for everyone, but I have found such tests useful to delve more deeply into what I like to do and what is actually important to me.
www.peoplemaps.co.uk have a service where you fill in a form and it tells you a bit about yourself, pay for more information.
http://jobsearch.about.com/od/personalitytests/ this looks like quite a good site in terms of career changes, with lots of links to various things, not just personality tests.
Well done for having the determination (and guts!) to do something about it, just make sure you take the time to make an informed decision on where to go next! Good luck!
