Cat Tracking Device

are there any cat tracking devices available that don't involve the cat wearing a collar? If so, please supply links

I was wondering where folk were expecting to place the device if not attached to a collar. I guess a harness works. Has to be strapped to them somehow though so if the issue was the posssibility of the strap getting caught, one may not have a good solution (unless there are some that can be swallowed).

Thanks woofgang - I've been wondering what to do about my cat when we move as the house we are going to has a cat-flap fitted and she'll be in another country! We can block up the flap for a few days but after that this could be an option.

If you're concerned about a collar getting caught on something, I believe that you can get collars that snap closed, and they can come off if they are yanked. So if your got stuck, the collar would break off.
