I had an email from Barclays about remembering my passwords. It looked genuine, addressed to me. Had to enter all my details, started to do it then felt uneasy, so deleted. Was I right?
Since I received my email to similar effect I check my on line account twice a day to make sure I have not been robbed. Mind you, if they want to steal my overdraft, then go ahead, is all I can say.
Yes, it looked so genuine, full name, all barclays insignia, really fooled me. I thought it was such a good idea as I'm always forgetting which password I've used.
Caran These emails look genuine, but of course they aren't.
If you go on line to your bank web site and type in " phishing " or " fraudulent emails",your bank will send you a long list of examples which you have to be aware of.
