Where can I take my boyfriend for his birthday on 8th Dec? There are no decent gigs on and what kind of theatre do boys like? Help?

my vote is a comedy club, jongleurs venues have licensed bars which sell jugs of cocktails and have sort of pub menu, you see several acts and theres the sort of disco drunk people like afterwards, good night out

well my fella doesn't like theatre at all! I notice it's a Monday night and you don't say where you live. If you do go to theatre then I'd say go for a comedy, maybe the Reduced Shakespear Company? I know at least three guys who seemed to like that. Alternatively as Teacle says, comedy stand-up check your local listings for who's showing. Popularly night for my lad friends is always Dog Racing (chips and lager) or look thru and see what odd bars are around eg one near me my fella loves where he can kick my a*s at table football!

spearmint rhino is always a winner. Seriously though boys tend to be easy. anything with laughs, nudity or violence. Reduced Shakespeare is a good one. But to be honest he would probably be just as happy if you booked a room in a hotel somewhere and stayed in watching star trek.
