the writer (who also made The Queen and Frost/Nixon) is used to dealing with fact. He said he also immediately assumed Jeffries was guilty because he looked odd; afterwards he was ashamed of his kneejerk reactions and said he wanted to put himself under scrutiny as much as anyone else
Yes it's good isn't it, but the Police were determined to pin it on him, but there was absolutely no proof at all. I didn't realise it was Gavin from Trollied, good make-up.
I thought it was a brilliant programme too but I think the police treated him dreadfully as well as the press. They had no evidence at all to say he murdered poor Jo. I seem to remember that there were a lot of people pointing the finger at him on this site at the time as well.
Brilliant programme - was totally gripped last night but thought tonight's episode got a bit tedious - could have all been condensed into 2 hours instead of 3. I do worry though about Jo Yeates parents being comfortable about it being shown especially at this time of year - they must have agreed though.
I read that Jo's parents were OK for it to go ahead. This man deserves an award for his portrayal, it was an excellent bit of acting. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
