We had a really good Christmas U3A lunch club today. Tomorrow is our proper Christmas party and Friday is our skittles Christmas lunch. It's no wonder people (me) put on weight at this time of year!

When I was about 19 I actually lost weight over Xmas (banana splits? Pooey!) Why doesn't the same body operate like that now? Said today, when choosing Champagne (Lidl) that I'd stopped worrying if what I would get for being 'sensible' was an extra year in an old folk's home. Enjoy!
