At this family and friends time of year, there are several ABers who won't be with us because of death, disability, illness or they have wandered off.
In memoriam to Owdhamer, Doctor Filth, Fredpuli, Whiffey, Bigmama, Ayabrea, Chakka and there are probably others.
In better health, happiness and possibly we may see them back shortly, Wharton, DaftGrandad, TOH, Loftylottie, Desktop, Mollie, Bobbiesox, Bryan D, Jacklee, Yogibear, Lazygun, Emmie. Legend, Panicbutton, dilf, tonywiltshire. Jeffa, aprilis, Village-Vicar, erin, bryand, kakuro, carlton, ethel, chuckfickens, sara3, weeal, Redcrx, Jemisa, Jeza and Mic, and TTFN
Again, I may have missed many and rest assured that they are not forgotten by ABers.
In memoriam and acknowledgement of Diane Goble.
Yuletide won't be the same this year,
Our AB table won't be complete
For we have lost loved ones ever so dear,
And at our fest there will be empty seats.
We thought that they would always stay on AB here,
But sadly that wasn't meant to be.
They flew up to Ed’s heaven, without shedding tears,
And softly whispered goodbye to we.
Our groaning AB table will also miss
Those for what ever reason have turned away
May they be safe and enjoy the season crisp
And come back to us and play.
Then there are those disabled or unfortunately ill
Unable to join in our festive greetings and fun
A strong recovery, up instead of downhill
To see them back and brighten our Christmas sun.
They would say ‘don't be sad on Christmas Day,’
For in our AB hearts you'll see.
That their wee angels are never far away,
They're not just glistening decorations on a tree.
All They ask is that we do not cry or grieve,
And that our day is filled with Christmas love.
For the greatest gift we could receive,
An AB visit from them on Earth or from above.

Thanks for remembering me.
I read Chatterbank regularly but always seem to be too late to join in a thread
Am looking forward to Christmas with my son and daughter and their families- talking of which, greatgrandchild number 17 arrived last week a wee boy to be called Noah.
Have to start a course of radio therapy mid-January - no alcohol allowed! But, that apart, am coping fairly well.
Weather rather chilly for the scooter - roll on Spring.
Wishing a wonderful Christmas to you all and your families
