Deleting 'Porn Turbo' programme?

I am the only person to use our home PC & have recently found a programme called 'Porn Turbo' on my desktop. I do not know how it got there & have tried in vain to delete it, but it won't allow me to! How can I remove this 'smut' & prevent any further similar programmes attaching themselves to my PC in the future - many thanks?

You can never stop them arriving completely due to the variety of ways they use to come in, but if you download a free firewall it'll avoid many, and then a free JV16 powertools, which allows you to delete items normally hidden on windows explorer, you should minimise the problem.

No, you're not alone, it's appeared on mine (at least twice) but up to now I've been able to uninstall it using control panel and remove programmes.

Thanx both, I did manage to delete it last night, via control panel & deleting programmes. I had tried this way several times, but it just wouldn't let me, it must have had a change of heart! Hopefully it's gawn forever! Blinkin' nuisance! Cheers.

I've had the same trouble and uninstalled it only to find it again 2 days later? I've never had any program download itself to my desktop without asking permission first? How is that possible or legal? My 3 year old daughter plays online games on this computer, I certainly don't want to have to explain what the pictures are!?! Surely there must be a better way than continuosly uninstalling?
