Christmas In The Good Old Days

I posted a question on here the other day so this is the result (for those of you who replied and are interested!)
After not a very great weekend, I have decided to call it a day and not try to hold on to our relationship. I only decided this yesterday and told my boyfriend when I came home from work that I agree we should split up.
I feel relieved now and, although I'm sure I will have lots of moments of sadness, looking forward to the future.
Just wanted to thank everyone who gave their advice.

You probably didn't see my question the other day but basically he has been distant the last couple of months and not being very nice to me. I kept confronting him but that just pushed him away further. After a lot of thought, I just don't think I am in love with him anymore so I think I was trying to hold on to the last bit of whatever was left.
I hope we will still be friends coz he has been in my life for six years.
We do still live in the same house coz we are waiting for the lease to end at beginning of July.
If you feel releaved, it was definitely the right decision.
And it sounds as if he was just not man enough to finish it on his own, but is relieved now, too!
I wish you all the best. And when you feel sad, just remember, that you deserve more than a half-hearted relationship. Even good friends are better than that!
