My husband, 71,had this 10 days ago. He fainted on the first evening, never done before and hasn't felt well since. He was checked out by the GP after the faint, BP etc was Ok. Anybody had a reaction? Am aware it is a new drug.
I had shingles a few years ago, it was awful, I think I'd rather give birth. Shingles is very very painful, so even if the vaccine has side affects, it is better than getting shingles. I remember the pain and shiver.
My husband had the injection last year. He had a very sore and swollen arm and felt generally unwell. Lacked energy and took several days to start feeling better. We did go to the doctor and he was put on antibiotics in case of infection.
