Here is Sandra, fanciable aint she - that is, to probably another orang utan. Would you ever have considered giving her basic human rights? No I wouldn't but because the poor old gal has been cooped up for most of her life her LAWYER has managed to pull it off by taking her case to court. How her LAWYER will be paid........we'd best not go there.

All species, or groups of species, ought to have a set of rights acknowledged. Even if for some the number of rights is near negligible, perhaps limited to no gratuitous cruelty/suffering.

I would love her to go to Monkey World, what a truly fabulous place it is. I would be happy for her to have any rights going so long as she gets a happy outcome, poor creature.
