Never tried on plastic, Barsel.....but hair spray works on lots of things...x
Vinegar might help or nail polish remover works too
Buy a new watch strap ;-)
Have you tried a household cream cleaner? Used it to get marks off trainers
Lemon juice or milk sometimes does the trick . Good luck
I always advise trying the Stain Devil made specifically for ballpoint pen.
I use anti bacteria on everything, it is the stuff from hospital though so it's the ethanol content that does all the removing. I don't know how this would react with the plastic though. I know it melted the plastic on my cannula dressing (to my arm, all sticky, yuk yuk) - that's why I'd probably leave using something like that till the last resort.
Soak the end of a Q -Tip in WD-40 and try that.
It will probably be cheaper to buy a new watch strap...after all, how much can white plastic straps cost ?
Toothpaste, a very mild abrasive, should work.

Really good suggestions there, thanks. Don't want to buy a new strap as this one is really nice, not just plain bog standard and I'm sure I wouldn't get one the same. Will write down your suggestion and start with the ones I have in the cupboard. Just got back from Tesco and I meant to have a look while I was in there for some type of ink remover as Prudie suggested, but I forgot :-(.
toothpaste the white colgate sort..smear it on, leave overnight and wipe off with damp cloth !
