Nothing too drastic, just a heads-up for those planning to travel tomorrow.

I'd love some snow, it makes |Christmas for me, we live high near the Pennines and frequently have snow here in winter.
Potenti for some here later if the showers get going.....
I have two unconnected groups of friends, who are driving out to France and Switzerland for a weeks skiing this Saturday. The holidays are costing them a small fortune and there is very little snow already there, and not much forecast either !
Watched the weather forecast earlier, looks like it's coming our way ( Midlands area ).
Woohoo! *let it snow, let it snow, let it snow*
Here's the actual wording of the Met Office weather warning:
"Valid from 1100 on Fri 26 December to 0600 on Sat 27 December

An area of rain, sleet and snow is expected to spread eastwards across parts of Northern Ireland, England and Wales during Boxing Day before clearing during the evening and overnight.

A lot of uncertainty surrounds how much snow will occur, but there is the risk of several centimetres even at low levels. As precipitation clears, roads could turn very icy.

The public should be aware of the potential for disruption from snow. Please watch for updates to this warning. especially if travelling."
