I shall be getting a new phone tomorrow.....and I would like to e-mail some of the photos I am going to take....

As it will be the first time for me, would some kind AB tell me how to do it ?Being a senior silver surfer, I find technology wonderful to look at, but am intimidated about the know-how...

I wish all ABs a very good Christmas.

On my ipod I click on the photo album and click on the photo and it gives option to email it, which I sometimes do. Very easy.
Which phone?

Thank you for our speedy replies...I think I heard the words Samsung Experia mentionned....
The Xperia is a Sony. When you know exactly what phone you have it will be easy to help you
I have a Samsung S3 and had to contact my network provider to switch something on to enable me to text photos (rather than email).
Best to transfer them to your computer first then email them as an attachment.

And a Happy Christmas to you and yours also.
Oh, gosh... you have an Android operating system! As an Apple user, I can only say 'Good Luck'! But for Android systems you have one of the better ones in my opinion. For one thing, if it's an Xperia x3 it's pretty much waterproof which is a nice feature. Sony excels in the camera systems on its products so I'm sure you'll appreciate its quality and ease of use.

As grass carp intimates, you'll find the taking of the pictures and then either sharing or storing a simply task quickly learned. It'll help if you become familiar with your home computer's photo system so you can transfer the camera data to the computer, where, with a good photo system such as Picasa (free) you can quickly learn to crop and otherwise manipulate the photo for a better viewing quality.

Good luck and Merry Christmas from here in the western U.S...
Yes, if it's an android phone it will be very easy. Literally a one click process after taking the photo to send it to an email address or FaceBook.

If you don't get a user guide with it, download one from the manufacturer's website.
