Broadband Connection To Tablet

Having purchased a Lonovo tablet I am struggling to get a broadband c0nnection from my desktop computer to the tablet despite many attempts. Any advice to help me here?!

You need a wi fi router.

Your router should broadcast using a broadcast "name" and probably with a password.

You need to get tablet to search for all the routers that are broadcasting in your local area, then select yours (if you know the name).

It may then ask you for a password which will be case sensitive.

If you have not got a broadband router that is wi fi enabled you need to get one.

If you don't know your broadcast name and password then it will probably be on the router itself (on the base?) or on paperwork that came with the router.
