Who Eats In Their Bedroom?

Just seen a butter advert where the husband brings his wife tea and toast in the bedroom.

I don't as have always been worried about carpet mites/larvae/beetles as well as cockroaches, mice and rats.

I have a friend who refuses to eat in her garden or have barbecues as she's convinced that foxes will come in droves during the night and even went as far to hoover the patch of grass under someone who dared bring a sandwich outside one time despite her warning signs (Yes she even has signs)

Do you eat in the bedroom? If not what is the reason? Do you eat in the tv/living room/lounge? The kitchen? The stairs? The toilet even?

I'm bewildered as to what the OP's friend thinks 'droves of foxes' are going to do in her garden. Apart form Foxes being quite solitary animals the worst they could do is clean the mess up left from the BBQ. Bed bugs only eat human based products and cockroaches -well if your house has cockroaches a few crumbs in your duvet is the least of your worries.

Only when I'm invited, -Talbot-, I was dragged up proper like :-)
I ate my bowl of cornflakes in bed this morning & morning cup of tea. Only because it was cold and the heating was set for the wrong time.
Never anywhere but our living/room dining room. Who the hell eats in bed? All those crumbs etc....

Greedyfly I agree about crusty toast or crumbly biscuits but a moist sturdy cake or hunk of cheese could be possible but I'd still be worried about nano particles of food what the human eye misses and the insect eye sees loud and clear
No woman wants a crumb in her bed
I did know someone who always took a cup of tea and a digestive biscuit with his newspaper into the loo every morning.
Could you be a wee bit paranoid about beasties?
I used to like to eat toast in bed, but OH complained about crumbs so I don't now.
I never eat in bed but I often bring OH up food but he has a food blanket :-)
Been a while since I ate in bed but breakfast used to be a treat on a Sunday morning delivered by Mr Cuppa. I'll have to remind him he hasn't offered lately.

Thanks for the reminder Henrietta. Maybe we could rekindle the idea with tomorrows breakfast.

I've eaten everywhere you list with the exception of the Loo - your friend sounds a bit odd.

I have foxes outside, if they eat any crumbs I leave from a snack on the balcony, so what?
Food ?never !
