Thursday. Quite mild outside this morning 10°C. Not bad for 8th January! Yesterday would have been warm too, but the wind had teeth. No wind this morning so far.

Out and about today, might take lunch while I'm out.

I have a Kindle Fire HD.... one of the best things I've ever had!

That's what I've got coming today slappy. On minty's recommendation. :o}

swipe down from top select wireless and available routers will show, select yours and input your password then you are off..if you take your kindle oot 'n' aboot do the same and it will connect too..when you are next within range of any of these routers you will connect automatically..lots of free wifi when out shopping etc if you stop for coffee or tincture..TA will have one ! download Skype and take kindle with you !

Brilliant! didn't know all that. So once is logged onto my router, it'll automatically pick up any other one on the list if it's in range?

yes..but you will need the password to connect..

yes for each router available there will be a password...known only to router owner...

when in public places ie pubs ,cafes, shops etc it is simply a matter of asking at counter for password

Hi waterman & everyone. I see you're taking delivery of a Kindle today waterman? Did it arrive yet? It may need a lengthy charge to begin with, when mine arrived I though there'd be at least some charge on it ... but it was completely flat. By the way, don't think the bit where the charger goes in to the Kindle is bent, it's meant to be on a slant! 'll need to but a case too.
