Can we have music playing on Ab whilst we check out the Q in different topics? Like when we go into sport we could have the cricket theme or the skiing music, then when we go into film we could have the magnificent seven theme, or barbra striesand singing The way We were, and then in animals we could have matt Munro singing Born free, in technology we could have a bit of a 2001 a space odyssey, and in art and lit, well, i would like to hear pictures at an exhibition not heard that in ages. motoring, gotta be the theme to Bullitt and food and drink, the drink song from the student prince, shopping, Moon River, (Breakfast at Tiffany's) run out of ideas, any more?

Woah! Hang on there dot. Were' not all on broadband yet. Fine if you live in one of the the main cities but not so easily available elsewhere. If you want music while you browse, what's wrong with placing a CD in the tray while you browse and ponder? :-)

This of course raises the question of royalty payments; it would not be beyond the wit of some ABers to try to boost the Streisand bank balance by leaving Film on all day, but who's gonna pay, that's what I want to know, it usually ends up coming out of the pockets of people in tiny pit villages.
