So, according to today's paper, we get a bit of a lie in this year.

To make up for the slightly slowing rotation of the Earth, an extra second will be added to our time at the end of the day on 30th June.

So, on 1st July, we can all have a bit of a lie in.

I saw that. I've no idea what to do with myself.
Times like this I wish the mrs hadn't run off.
I suppose it's nice that the planet is going to slow down in summer rather than winter. Though Australians will probably be disappointed.
Can I have the extra second this weekend instead?

I don't think it would have a good outcome if it stopped.

I'm going to book 1st of July off & have a massive sleep in!! Lol
If you are working night shift I hope you get the extra pay you will have earned.
We no not working nights so won't get the massive increase :-/ haha
