Good thinking minty! I will put label on it this morning. Screen lock when I find it and how it works. Knowing me, I'll lock it then not be able to unlock it!

swipe down touch more..select security ..screen lock.. select on add pin or password ..then nobody else can open your kindle..but remember the number password of course..

when you switch on a number pad will present for you like an ATM ...
