They need to be potted on when you see roots starting to appear out of the bottom of the pot (spring is best time) in ji3 compost. Lots of sun warmth and water in the summer but some dapled shade under larger trees is best for seedlings. I keep mine in a cool green house in the winter and move the pot outside in april. granular plant food is ok but dont be tempted to over do it or the fronds will turn yellow. mines about 12" high now and in its 4th pot about 10"
I have had much more success with growing the Chusan palm (Trachycarpus) than the former.
I'm not sure by what you say, if your seeds have germingated, if not post back for further info. Good Luck. Ps always keep a look out for red spider mite as this can easily kill them, plenty of water spraying should keep them at bay.
