Does anyone know or remember a track from about 1998 I think:- the tune was based on bitter sweet synphony by the verve and it had a female voice on it? That's all I can remember!

I've got Massive Attack in my head, not sure if it's right though.
Perhaps featuring Shara Nelson????

Ha!

I'm right, it was Massive Attack featuring Shara Nelson, song was called Unfinished Symphony.

God, thank gawd for that, I can sleep tonight now!

Massive Attack's Unfinished Sympathy was released in 1991, six years before the Verve's Bittersweet Symphony
iwbus is right you guys

Oh ****** :-(

I was so convinced i'd got a reply in i knew before someone else did :-(

Right well, I'll shuffle off to my corner now then...............

"Bitter Sweet Symphony" itself used a sample, part of an orchestration of the Rolling Stones "The Last Time" (although the actual part used was played by Andrew Loog Oldham's Orchestra); this resulted in a very bitter & unsweet lawsuit which the Stones won.
Are you getting mixed up with the video? Both are people walking down the road, more or less all shot in one take? They are quite similar.
